Rafting and cutting mills, handicrafts and agriculture as well as the construction methods of the Franconian Forest houses are topics in the Heimatmuseum Steinwiesen (Museum of local history Steinwiesen). Traditional artefacts and evidence of popular piety provide an insight into life in the Franconian Forest at the beginning of the 20th century. Local documents from the time of the two world wars are also on display.
