The Heimatmuseum Raisting (Museum of local history Raisting) shows a local history collection of traditional costumes, household goods, agricultural and handicraft tools. A schoolroom from around 1930, a doctor's room and the shop fittings of the former Kramer "Schmid-Heini" tell of the more recent past, and finds from the Stone and Roman periods point to the eventful history of the village. One room is dedicated to the Raising painter Otto Hellmeier (1908-1996).
