The history of Mering from the Neolithic Age to the present day awaits visitors to the former castle mill. The local history museum focuses on topics of rural and middle-class life in the 19th and 20th centuries. On display are, among other things, historical items of clothing and jewellery, farming and domestic tools as well as local handicrafts and their products.
