Where salt and grain were once stored, a museum has now moved in. In the historic salt stadiums from the early 17th century, Kraiburg's museum of local history displays objects related to the history of the town, but also to various crafts such as beer brewing or saddlery. A special rarity is the Kalliope, a functioning grandfather clock from the late 19th century.
