"Stone Age, knights, old geezers" is how the museum succinctly describes its collection: 5 floors, that's about 1000 m² full of objects from Maßbach and the surrounding area. These can be objects from domestic life, local crafts and agriculture. Or even a "prehistoric cave" decorated with "Old Stone Age cave paintings", which introduces the archaeological section. The entire exhibition in the former Schrimpf's castle is designed in such a way that the objects are not only to be looked at, but also to be touched.
