The Heimatmuseum der Stadt Vohenstrauß (Archaeological museum of local history) displays its collections on former living and working conditions, the history of the town and industry (glass and porcelain), agriculture and religious folk art as well as archaeological finds in and around Vohenstrauß in the so-called Ackerbürgerhaus dating from the 18th century. An old mill and a farm garden also await visitors.
