Heimatmuseum Buchloe (Museum of local history Buchloe)
The Heimatmuseum Buchloe (Museum of local history Buchloe) has exhibits on the ground floor on local history, the composing room of a book printing company with a functioning line composing machine, archive volumes of the "Buchloer Zeitung", church tower clocks, sacred art and liturgical equipment, pictures by the Baroque painter Joseph Schwarz as well as models and original pieces on local railway history.On the upper floor, works by the painter Eduard Bechteler (1890-1983) are exhibited. A cabinet is dedicated to the winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine (1991), Professor Dr Erwin Neher. Other rooms show traditional costumes, uniforms and flags as well as native and exotic butterflies. A Sudeten German homeland room can also be visited.
