The Buchenberg Local History Museum (Heimatmuseum Buchenberg) is housed in a former smallholding. The living room, kitchen and bedroom of a small farming family from the first half of the 20th century are on display, as well as an old schoolroom and a shoemaker's workshop. A separate room is dedicated to the history of the former Kempten-Isny railway line. In the former stable and threshing floor, farming implements for field, house and farm can be seen. Audio guides are available for the permanent exhibition.
