The Heimathaus in the small building, which dates back to 1750/51, aims to bring the life and work of the people in historic Gestratz to life. On the ground floor there is a blacksmith's shop in working order, and on the upper floor there is a place for Gestratz's local history along with former trades. The attic is dedicated to the former community leader (1849-1877) and Royal Bavarian Member of Parliament Alois Stadler.
