Visitors to the Heimat- und Bauernmuseum (Museum of local history and peasantry) get an overview of life in a market town with a farming environment in earlier times. While exhibits from the agricultural sector are on display on the ground floor, the upper floor contains fully furnished living and utility rooms, a laundry room, a schoolroom, a bathroom facility and various crafts. An annexe houses a special department on the subject of "pond farming and carp breeding" as well as a small natural history department.
