In the Haus der Heimat (House of the homeland), the local history museum in Pressath presents its local history collection on customs, art, crafts and everyday life in the Upper Palatinate since the Thirty Years' War. The "Vertriebenenstube" (Room for Displaced Persons), which is also housed here, is a reminder of the old homeland of the Sudeten Germans lost after the Second World War.
