The main themes of the "Heimathaus" are old crafts as well as living and life in the olden days. How practical it is that it is housed in a former residential building with a locksmith's shop and forge from 1893. On 5 floors, it shows old and partly already forgotten trades from coopers to wax candle makers and shingle makers. A complete craftsman's flat, a schoolroom and a corner shop complete the picture of life in Scheidegg 100 years ago.
