Peace is an ongoing process, and that is why the Lindau "friedens räume" (peace rooms) are more than a museum - after all, "peace" cannot be exhibited in showcases. And so visitors to this intercultural and interfaith meeting place are invited to dedicate themselves to this topic with all their senses, whether in the "reading room", the "decision room", the "listening room" or the "garden room". The Villa Lindenhof, built between 1842 and 1845 in the midst of a large park directly on the shores of Lake Constance, provides an appealing setting.
