In the large aquarium in the foyer, you can see the fish that live in the Wörnitz - but how do the fish themselves see their surroundings? Visitors can find out on the ground floor of the Fluvius Museum, where everything revolves around the world of life on the Wörnitz, the river in Wassertrüding, and on the upper floor they can learn all about pond farming and Central Franconia's "fish star", the carp. Another thematic focus of the museum is life in the town with the river close to the old town, which not only brought good times such as economic prosperity, but was also characterised by flooding and major damage.
