The stately building with its cantilevered roof truss bears the name Fischerbau, named after its builder Johann Michael Fischer. It was originally built in 1745/46 as a beer cooling house for the monastery. Today it serves mainly as an exhibition space for contemporary art, which contrasts in an exciting way with the historical building elements inside.
