A more suitable location could not have been found: A former school building now houses the "Erstes Bayerisches Schulmuseum (First Bavarian School Museum)", which documents the development of schools and school life in Bavaria. Two original classrooms from 1875 and 1920 show the cramped conditions and spartan furnishings of the time, whereas the room from 1960 reflects a kind of democratisation, for example with the removal of the teacher's podium. Other topics include forms of teaching, the role of the teacher, school punishments, school routes, vocational schools, the history of education and the development of writing and writing implements. There is also a school and educational garden.
