Important information:
In 2001, remains of a Neolithic settlement were discovered on the village beach of Buchbrunn. The original finds are now on display in the foyer of the town hall. At the same time, Buchbrunn children take visitors on a cinematic journey through time: They show how people lived 7000 years ago, what domestic animals were kept and what plants were cultivated.
In addition, a Neolithic longhouse has been partially reconstructed on the school grounds, which illustrates the construction of such a house.
