Edwin Scharff Museum (Edwin Scharff Museum)
The Edwin Scharff Museum (Edwin Scharff Museum) is a house for art lovers as well as for children. It is dedicated to the sculptor and painter Edwin Scharff (1887-1955), who was born in Neu-Ulm, but has many faces. On more than 1400 m², there is an overview of the work of Edwin Scharff on the one hand, and the estate of the non-objective painter Ernst Geitlinger (1895-1972) is presented on the other. The house also includes a children's museum where young visitors can explore the content of the exhibition in a playful way. The Haus der Kunst (House of art) is unique in Germany in that it gives as much space to the presentation of art as it does to exhibitions for children. Changing exhibitions mainly show art by Scharff's contemporaries and thus always create new and surprising references.
