"Hops and malt, God forbid!" For the Hallertau, this is more than just a toast. It has long been the world's largest hop-growing region, with the market town of Wolnzach as the "hop metropolis". At the Deutsches Hopfenmuseum (German Hop Museum), interactive models, life-size displays, media stations and much more invite visitors on a journey through the centuries-old history of a plant and the people who live from it.
