The Deutsches Gewürzmuseum (German Spice Museum) is a sensory experience. An Arabian bazaar with music and numerous details allows visitors to see, hear and, above all, smell the world of spices as soon as they enter the exhibition. Visitors follow the spice caravans on their long and arduous journey from China to medieval Nuremberg and learn a great deal about the significance and value of spices in the past, their diversity today and, last but not least, their many different facets in myth and magic, botany and the art of healing.
