Burgmuseum Wolfsegg (Wolfsegg Castle Museum)
The fortified hilltop castle of Wolfsegg rises strikingly above the small town north of Regensburg. The exhibition inside shows that everyday life in the medieval castle was not very comfortable. However, the beautiful aspects of life for the inhabitants - administrative officials from the lower nobility - such as minnesong are not neglected here. Directly beneath the castle is a stalactite cave, which is no longer accessible today and which not only ensured the water supply during a siege, but also contained numerous artefacts from the Stone Age to the 19th century, which are exhibited in the cave museum.
