Burgmuseum Mitterfels (Mitterfels Castle Museum)
Where until 1949 people were still locked up, today all doors are open: The former prison wing of Mitterfels Castle houses the museum on the 700-year history of the Mitterfels District and County Court. Small workshops have moved into the former cells, or they show peasant living. And even the original furnishings of the former village pharmacy can be found here. But of course, a "real" prison cell is also not to be missed, which tells of the original use of the building.
