Botanischer Garten der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Botanical Garden of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg)
Small but mighty: about 5,000 different plant species from all over the world can be admired in the Botanical Garden in the northern palace garden. Founded in 1828, it serves both academic teaching and edification and shows its visitors plant biodiversity and natural history correlations all year round. A unique feature is the so-called Neischlhöhle, an artificial stalactite cave, which was built in 1907 and still fascinates visitors today with its extraordinary natural fidelity.
The normal opening hours refer to the greenhouses and the seasonal opening hours to the outdoor area.
