Bauernmuseum "Staudenhaus" (Farm museum "Staudenhaus)
At the beginning of the 19th century, thatched-roof houses still characterised the village appearance in many villages in the "Stauden", the hilly region southwest of Augsburg. In 1974, the last thatched house in the region was saved from demolition and now serves as a farm museum. The small-scale Mitterstallbau (Sölde) is fully equipped and vividly presents to its visitors the living environment of the inhabitants of a mercenary household, as it was characteristic and widespread in the Stauden landscape.
