Bauernmöbelmuseum (Farm Furniture Museum)
Important information:
Sometimes sparingly painted, sometimes lavishly decorated: The wide range of farmhouse furniture painting in the Bavarian Forest in the 18th and 19th centuries can be marvelled at in the Farmhouse Museum. The cupboards and chests gathered here from all over the region show that, despite many a hardship and the hardest work, the sense of beauty and personal style were not lost. In addition to the furniture, the museum also exhibits reverse glass paintings and wax blocks, glassware, household goods and a weaving room. In the wagon shed and the granary there are agricultural implements and tools.
