Bartholomäus-Schmucker-Heimatmuseum (Bartholomäus Schmucker Home Museum)
It looks like an Italian Renaissance villa, the hunting lodge built for Duke Wilhelm V in 1587, which now houses the Bartholomäus-Schmucker-Heimatmuseum (Bartholomäus Schmucker Home Museum). The collection of paintings, flags, uniforms, traditional costumes, handicraft tools, clocks, rustic furniture, glass and porcelain as well as sacred artefacts extends over two floors. Special features include the extensive hunting and weapons collection as well as a special collection of rocks and fossils from the mountains around Ruhpolding.
