2000 years of the Auerberg cultural landscape are the theme of the museum in the Kiebelehaus. On a varied tour, visitors learn about the settlement history of the Auerberg: the oldest town-like Roman settlement in Bavaria, the history of the municipality of Bernbeuren, the agricultural changes in the region and the history of the museum building, a typical craftsman's house from the early 18th century.
