"Archaeology - History - Home": Under this motto, the AschheiMuseum (AschheiMuseum) presents the rich settlement history of the municipality of Aschheim, which goes back some 4,500 years. Divided into six thematic areas, it provides a vivid setting for the numerous archaeological finds from the Neolithic Age to the early Middle Ages. Highlights are the remains from the Celtic period - from which the highlight of the collection, the Athena of Dornach, also comes - and the finds from two terraced cemeteries from the early Middle Ages. Media stations as well as replicas, figures and models to touch also invite visitors to join in.
