Archiv Geiger (Archive Geiger)
The Munich-based Rupprecht Geiger (1908-2009) is one of the most important local artists of the post-war period. As a member of the ZEN '49 group, he made a lasting contribution to the development of abstract art. In Geiger's former studio, the Archiv Geiger today makes the artist's estate accessible to the public in temporary exhibitions of his works. The archive also deals with the work of the painter and graphic artist Willi Geiger (1878-1971), Rupprecht Geiger's father.
