A museum to participate in and "grasp": Located at an altitude of over 1000 m, the open-air museum offers insights into the life and work of the Allgäu mountain farmers. In the 300-year-old Sattler farm, visitors can embark on a journey back in time to the everyday life of a mountain farming family around 1920. Interesting facts about dairy farming can be discovered in the working farm, where the path from grass to milk can be traced in the walk-in cow's stomach, and the historic Höfle-Alpe shows alpine farming with its everyday life as an alpine dairyman. Children's cinema, hay hopping or feeling like a "little farmer" on the pedal tractor course are just some of the activities on offer for children.
