The exhibition features dogs and cats, birds and fish, tigers and elephants, pandas and phoenixes. Animal motifs were depicted on matchboxes almost everywhere in the world. Initially, match factories advertised with animal images in their logo and later issued colourful collector's series. The special exhibition also presents themed matchboxes that were used in the home.
