Photographs from Canada, Greenland and Iceland show Arctic landscapes that are undergoing rapid change due to climate change. Disappearing sea ice, ice sheet loss and rising sea levels highlight the global significance of the region. The images are presented as a large-scale projection together with seven kayaks on 100 m² and are visible from the outside – supplemented by video and research reports from the Alfred Wegener Institute. ARKTIS is the first 10/7 accessible showroom as part of a series of exhibitions by the artist on changing climate zones.
Exhibition period 23 January to 31 May 2026
Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
