From 9 October 2026, the Weiße Schloss Heroldsberg will present a comprehensive retrospective of Eitel Klein, an outstanding 20th-century painter and graphic artist from Nuremberg. In this exhibition, curator Dr Alexander Rácz brings together paintings, drawings, watercolours and photographs spanning five decades and, for the first time, showcases historically significant works that Klein created during the war and whilst in captivity in Romania, Russia and Poland: An extraordinary testament to creative output under difficult conditions.
