Wallfahrtsmuseum Neukirchen (Pilgrimage Museum Neukirchen)
Jug and bobbin lace, brush and glass bead, wooden swing and paper rose, woven rug and iron votive animal - a motley collection? What connects these so different things with each other? Does it all fit together at all and are the objects of current manufacture suitable for presentation in the museum?
The exhibition in the pilgrimage museum points out the uniqueness of handmade objects and informs visitors at a media station about the people who created these products, about the background of the craft and the motives and stories of the craftsmen.
At the same time, the Czech open-air museum in Chanovice will present the parallel exhibition of the Czech project partner, which, in addition to artefacts of traditional crafts, also deals with intangible cultural heritage.
Reduced admission to exhibition 2 is granted when visiting both exhibitions.
