Kristina Maršíková Málková studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 2003 to 2009 (Department of Painting Conservation, under Prof. Karel Stretti) and subsequently continued her doctoral studies there (2009–2015).
In her dissertation, she examined the painting techniques of Lucas Cranach the Elder and his circle, drawing on works from Czech collections.
From 2003 to 2004, she also completed a study placement at the textile design studio of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
In her independent work, she focuses on painting and mixed media techniques, in which she combines figurative motifs with personal and spiritual experiences.
