Exhibition on the occasion of the XVII European Symposium-Thurnau

Töpfermuseum Thurnau (Pottery Museum Thurnau)
The Europa Symposium Thurnau was launched in 2009 on the initiative of sculptors Albrecht Volk and Michael Sauer with the aim of creating a cross-border network of artists and developing contemporary art. Since then, artists from Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland have come together every year for a week-long workshop in Thurnau and work on their pieces in the sculpture garden at Oberer Markt and in Thurnau Castle. Visitors are cordially invited to look over the artists' shoulders and engage in dialogue with them. The works will be exhibited in the pottery museum after the symposium.
