Since 2018, the techniques of artistic printmaking have been recognised as Intangible World Cultural Heritage. This makes them one of the achievements of human creativity that are recognised as particularly worthy of protection. One of the pillars for keeping this heritage alive and passing it on to future generations are workshops for artistic printmaking.

Jeanette and Reinhard Rössler have been working as graphic printers for contemporary printmaking for four decades, initially with their workshop in Leipzig and since 1986 in Hohenossig.

The exhibition Von Kaiserblau bis Luxusschwarz shows a high-calibre selection of prints in the various techniques of relief and intaglio printing: etchings, woodcuts and linocuts as well as experimental formats. The exhibition has already been shown at the Orangery of Georgium Palace in Dessau, the "Hinter den Tuchhallen" cultural centre in Krakow, the exhibition hall of the Latvian Artists' Association in Riga, the Royal Library in Brussels, the Grafikmuseum Stiftung Schreiner (Schreiner Foundation) in Bad Steben and the town hall of the 11th arrondissement in Paris.
