"It's not technology that makes history, but the people who invented it." This sentence is attributed to Ferdinand Porsche, the designer of the legendary VW Beetle. Porsche is one of the technology pioneers from Bohemia and Moravia who made history and paved the way for our mobility today.

His 150th birthday is an occasion to tell this exciting story. In addition to Ferdinand Porsche, the exhibition introduces pioneers such as Franz von Gerstner, the designer of a groundbreaking horse-drawn railway, and Albin Hugo Liebisch, the inventor of the original Bohemian motorbike. An absolute discovery is Willibald Gatter, who built the first small car for everyone even before Porsche. The exhibition presents the last surviving Gatter car in the world for the first time.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a comprehensive programme of events and an illustrated catalogue.
