Laura Stadtegger discovered her love of art at an early age; she has been drawing since childhood and is particularly fascinated by the dynamics of the moving image, which she learnt about in the form of animated films. She has developed this dynamic into her guiding principle and expresses it on canvas in many different themes. She studied in New York City and Vienna and since a three-month stay in India, she has been working on the theme of landscape depiction, which she knows how to express with her own formal language.
