Portal - Objects, painting and performance

It will be exciting to see how the trio's works interact with each other in their similarities, but also in their differences. Anja Verbeek von Loewis, Sheila Furlan and Fabian Gatermann have created works that are inspired by the theme of opening and transition. "Portal" as an entrance into another dimension: passages are created, transitions, new perspectives and points of view. These "shifting realms" are invitations to engage with the hidden essence behind the surface.

The pictures by Anja Verbeek von Loewis move in an area between inside and outside - interior space, meditation, contemplation and confrontation with the outside world.

Sheila Furlan creates works that play with space, time and levels of action.

All of Fabian Gatermann's works are created in the field of tension between analogue and digital techniques, with the analogue element taking on an increasingly important role.
