25 years ago, the village of Unterschleißheim became a town. For some, what had long been a reality was formalised. Others wondered whether the familiarity of the village was now a thing of the past. But what does this mean for the local people: living in a village or in a town? To mark its 25th anniversary, the Unterschleißheim Town Museum is looking at Unterschleißheim's very own development from the late 1970s to the present day. How do people live and work here? Who shapes the way we live with and for each other? What hopes and debates have characterised this development, what makes life here special? Immerse yourself in surprising stories and diverse perspectives. What's special: From the opening onwards, you are also invited to further develop the exhibition through your stories, objects and reactions.
