Harald Klier has been passionately dedicated to nature photography for many years.
He is particularly enthusiastic about bird photography, either from a hiding place or during hikes through the surrounding natural landscape. Butterflies, beetles and other insects, as well as mammals, also arouse his interest. Species-rich habitats are dwindling rapidly. Fewer and fewer flowering plants and native grasses can be found in the meadows. Watercourses are being regulated and ponds are disappearing. Hedgerow strips have become rare. The photographer is therefore very keen to encourage his fellow human beings to preserve habitats or create new ones.
