Numerous photographs from the Gschwendtner Collection from the Stadtmuseum's holdings, which have not been shown much up to now, will be used to create a picture of the times and some themes will also be highlighted - supplemented by typical consumer articles from the 1950s.

The chronological focus will be on the 1950s and 1960s - i.e. the period immediately before and after the town's elevation in 1954 up to the dissolution of the Mainburg district in the course of the regional reform in 1971/72.
