Off to school! Story(s) around the first day of school

The first day of school -- a new time of life begins. Many things change. New people, new tasks, a new environment. This takes courage. Reason enough to celebrate this day and "sweeten" it with gifts.
The school cone has been around for over 100 years and is still designed with inexhaustible imagination.
Hans-Günther Löwe from Hamburg has dedicated himself to its history. He has collected more than 100 historical specimens and put together many things that used to be part of everyday school life - old pencil boxes, school books, slates and school bags.
The curator Dr Esther Gajek has created an exhibition from this collection, which has since been transferred to the Friedrichshafen School Museum, and which will also be shown in Mainburg this year.
