Shortly after the end of National Socialism, right-wing terror reappeared in Germany. It still poses a major threat today. The Stadtmuseum Erlangen (Erlangen City Museum) is showing the travelling exhibition "Right-wing terrorism - conspiracy and self-empowerment 1945 to today" in cooperation with the vhs Erlangen and is offering a series of lectures on the subject.

The exhibition deals with more than 20 cases of right-wing terrorism, including examples from Erlangen, Nuremberg and the surrounding area, as well as international crimes in Christchurch, Oklahoma City and Oslo. A special focus is placed on the victims and their families. It becomes clear that right-wing terrorism is not a temporary or localised phenomenon, but a constant threat to German and international history. In addition, the social and legal handling of right-wing terrorist crimes is critically analysed.
