Making yourself invisible in the blink of an eye, ageing ten years in a second, beating a computer at a puzzle or drawing with heat: Where is this possible? In the hands-on exhibition "Technikland - auf Tour", which is on display at the Stadtmuseum Erlangen (Erlangen City Museum) until 19 January.
At 30 experimental stations, researchers aged 10 and over can try out scientific and technical phenomena under expert guidance and develop skills in maths, IT, science and technology in a fun way. The experiments also demonstrate historical contexts and establish links to technical processes in everyday life.
Accompanying the exhibition, workshops invite visitors to make batteries from change, build small robots or carry out experiments with light, mirrors or the microwave oven. In addition to the learning factor, the emphasis here is on having fun trying things out and making discoveries.

Technikland is always open to families and individual visitors at weekends and during the holidays at the following times: Tue/Wed/Fri 9am - 5pm, Thu 9am - 8pm, Sat/Sun 11am - 5pm. On school days, the exhibition is only open to school classes by prior arrangement.
