stories from Lower Franconia are at the centre of the exhibition:
It tells of international successes and very special friendships on the pitch.
But it is also about defeats and the darker side of sport. The entire spectrum of the topic is shown in four exhibition rooms: living room, changing room, sports field and
clubhouse. Four locations where sport is played, celebrated and discussed.

Numerous interactive and media stations challenge all of the visitors' senses. Take part in the collection of the best sports excuses and follow
special moments in the lives of sportsmen and sportswomen! The exhibition is for everyone

Sport in Lohr - the beginnings

Today, Lohr am Main and its districts of Halsbach, Pflochsbach, Rodenbach,
Ruppertshütten, Sackenbach, Sendelbach, Steinbach and Wombach have a total of 12 sports clubs. The largest is TSV Lohr 1846 with 16 departments and more than 2000 members. There is also a wide range of leisure, sport, fitness and health activities outside the clubs. But how did sport in Lohr begin?
The special section of the exhibition "Sport. Your stories from Lower Franconia" traces the beginnings in the small town on the River Main back to around 1950.
