The exhibition shows the history of industrial paper production in Ismaning. The paper mill was the oldest industrial enterprise in the town, built around 1860, and until its closure in 1971, it mainly produced utility paper and packaging from waste paper. For more than 100 years, the paper mill was one of the most important employers in the town.
What was everyday working life like in the factory? How did the machines work? Historical documents, plans, objects and photos explain the production and distribution of the various types of paper "Made in Ismaning".
