The "Erdzeichen" project by the Upper Bavarian artist Wilhelm Holderied at Munich Airport is an internationally renowned example of a land art sculpture right in the neighbourhood of the Kunstforum. To mark the 30th anniversary of the artwork, the Schafhof - European Art Forum Upper Bavaria is holding an exhibition documenting the construction and significance of the installation and showing other artistic works by Holderied that showcase his decades-long preoccupation with signs and symbols.
