The Roman Museum Fort Boiotro is showing its current special exhibition Boiotro [newly] discovered! until 15 November. The exhibition centres on the Boiotro fort, which was rediscovered 50 years ago and whose foundations are now part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Danube Limes.
The special exhibition takes a detailed look at issues surrounding the fort - its unusual shape, its location and its inhabitants. Never-before-seen archaeological finds, life-size figurines and numerous rare replicas show the development of the Inn town from pre-Roman times to the early Middle Ages.
Additional events take place as part of the supporting programme, for example on International World Heritage Day, Sunday 1 June.
Opening hours Roman Museum Fort Boiotro: Tue-Sun, 10 am - 4 pm
